Three paid plans. The differences are mostly about scale: how many brands you run, how much you publish, and how widely you track.

The trial

Seven days on Growth, once per organization, with Growth's limits. During the trial AI visibility is tracked on ChatGPT and Google AI Overviews; Perplexity and Gemini join once the plan is paid.

Scale and Agency start paid. Nothing is deleted when a trial ends; your data waits for you to pick a plan.

Your first week is written around the trial length, and the order in it matters: some of what Ranksmile measures only becomes readable with a few days of history behind it.

Which limit you hit first

In practice, one of two.

Brand Spaces, if you are an agency. Client count grows faster than anything else, and two go quickly.

Documents, if you are one company publishing steadily. Thirty is comfortable for a few months and then is not.

The others rarely bind. The prompt limit is generous relative to how many questions are actually worth tracking. It counts across all your Brand Spaces, and one Brand Space holds at most 50 prompts. See choosing prompts for why tracking fewer, better questions beats filling the allowance.

Engines on Growth

Growth tracks four of the five answer engines: ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, and Google AI Overviews. Scale and Agency track all five. Which engines those are, and what the difference means for what you can see, is covered in AI visibility.

Changing plan

Upgrades take effect immediately and the new limits apply at once. Downgrades take effect at the end of the billing period, so you keep what you paid for.

If you downgrade below your current usage, nothing is deleted. The spaces and documents over the new limit become read-only until you are back under it.
